Houston We Have Gold
Back in July my nephews and their teammates from HIR went to Omaha NE for the National Inline Speed Skating Championships. I was able to watch the heats and finals on USA Rollersports Website. My nephew Hunter placed 4th in the Nationals in his age bracket in the 500m race.
A job well done being his first Nationals. My other nephew Travis along with his teammates Colby Avery and Clayton won the Gold Medal in the juvenile boys 1200m 4 boy relay. Congratulations to team HIR on your showing at the National Championships. Maybe one of the fine young skaters will be the next Apollo Anton Ohno…
